Why do artists choose to work together, and what do they achieve? What kind of collaborative practices seem to have been the most popular and successful in recent years? With examples drawn from the fields of jewellery, design and art I will discuss various methods and strategies for collaborative work

Love Jönsson a craft and design critic, writing regularly for dailies, magazines and exhibition catalogues in Sweden and abroad. In 2005, he was the editor of the anthology Craft in Dialogue: Six Views on a Practice in Change (Stockholm: Iaspis) and contributed with essays for the anthologies Re:Form – Contemporary Swedish crafts (Stockholm: Arvinius) and Access to Accessory (Geneva: Haute école d’arts appliqués). He lectures at The School of Design and Crafts at Göteborg University.
